Zapier UI/UX Redesign Concept
  • Zapier Site Redesign
Revisiting the UX and site design for startup, Zapier
  • Zapier is a new startup that helps users create and maintain API data syncs for various services and websites. This project is in the planning and concept stage, but I'm quite excited with the direction we're heading. The guys asked me to help revisit the user experience, website design, and interface design. It features a dialogue driven process with simply drag and drop features to allow for a simple process from start to finish.
  • Homepage
  • The user is asked to enter their name and email to begin the process and set up their account. They won't be able to move on to the next step without logging in, or entering the required info shown here to set up the account.
  • Showing the Drag and Drop to get started with setting up the "Zap," or API sync. The user selects from two services by selecting the "from" service and the "to" service.
  • After dropping the second logo into place, the tags are replaced with a message asking for confirmation that these are the two service the user wants to create a "Zap" between before moving on to the next step.
  • Showing the next step. By filling out the info at the top of the homepage, a new account is created and confirmation email sent to the user. After clicking the confirmation email, the user is shot right back to where they left off in the process. This is the step where they configure the settings for the data sync.
  • Logged in user drop down menu options.
  • When a logged in user wishes to create a new "Zap," the process is the same as when they signed up maintaining consistency in the process and reinforcing user expectations.
